Inner Healing
The Overcomer Ministry uses several tools to help guide you through Inner Healing. We firmly believe that healing cannot start unless first there is a heart of forgiveness. During the course of our own healing, as a ministry, we learned that there are different stages of healing for everyone. Not everyone will need to go through all the stages of healing. Some may only need the first three stages, whereas others may need to go through the entire stages of healing. It all depends on the individual and the level of trauma. Participation and commitment are key in one’s own healing. Level of trauma also plays a major role in how fast one can receive healing and be set free. We are not miracle workers; we rely 100 percent on the power of the Holy Spirt. As a Ministry we use these tools to help guide you through your Inner healing process:
- Help you understand the importance of forgiveness and walk you through forgiveness exercises.
- Why Repentance is key in your healing process and how to use the Bible to repent.
- Understand what vows are and why we need to break them.
- Guide you through breaking soul ties.
- Understand how darkness can gain legal ground into your life, how to break free from them through the Blood of Jesus Christ.
- What is Court of Heaven? Why we take our request to The Court of Heaven to the Supreme Judge (God).
- What is a stronghold/strongman and how they can influence the Spirit and Soul?
- Understanding Dissociative identity disorder (DID) and different stages of brokenness.

How We Got Started
March of 2020 during lock down due to Covid-19, The Holy Spirit pressed upon our hearts to start a study titled “Demolishing Strongholds” by Mike & Sue Dowgiewicz. We started a small group of around 12 people in June of 2020 from 5 different churches. Those of us that continued, grew in our faith with Lord Jesus Christ in ways we never imagined. From there we decided to learn another study from Vision Life Ministries online courses. Since then, it has changed our perspective on living as disciples of Jesus Christ. Shortly after the last study, The Lord led us to Ignited in Christ, a ministry from South Africa. Going through Ignited in Christ 10-week module is when all of us really began to grow in our spiritual walk with power, love and a sound mind. As we grew closer to The Lord Jesus Christ, we wanted to share our experience with others.
